Two-piece ball valve
Heavier-wall two-piece build, seal-welded in CF8 or CF8M. 316 with NPT ends ex stock, 1/4″ to 4″, 1000 WOG.
One body, no bolted joint.
The two-piece body is seal-welded rather than bolted, so the joint between body and cap is not a place the line can start to weep. V-2B is the heavier-wall build in the two-piece series.
It runs eleven sizes: 1/4″, 3/8″, 1/2″, 3/4″, 1″, 1-1/4″, 1-1/2″, 2″, 2-1/2″, 3″ and 4″. The three largest sizes are the reason most buyers come to this build. End-to-end length runs from 58 mm on the 1/4″ to 170 mm on the 3″; the 4″ has its own dimension sheet.
The 316 build — CF8M body with NPT ends — is a stock item. PTFE seats, a stainless stem and a full port so the bore matches the pipe and pressure drop stays low. Female threaded ends make it straightforward to fit into an existing run. For the standard-wall build in 1/4″ to 2″, see our stainless steel threaded ball valve.
If the line is welded rather than threaded, the same platform ships with socket weld ends in full port, or butt weld ends in reduced port.
