Stainless Steel High Pressure Ball Valve — 2000 WOG, Two-Piece, 1/4″–2″
Stainless steel high pressure ball valve — a two-piece screwed body rated 2000 WOG, double the working pressure of a standard two-piece. Cast CF8 / CF8M body, full port, PTFE seats, PT or NPT female threads, 1/4″ to 2″.
Twice the pressure, same threaded envelope.
Most two-piece ball valves are rated 1000 WOG. The V-2NF is built for the lines where that is not enough — compressed air and gas distribution, oil and gas field piping, and pressurized water systems that run or spike well past the norm. Its investment-cast CF8 / CF8M body carries a 2000 WOG cold working pressure rating, twice the figure of a standard two-piece valve, while keeping the same compact screwed-end format that drops straight into ordinary threaded pipework.
The bore is full port, so the valve does not choke the line it protects, and each size lists its Cv value on the dimension sheet. Seats, body gasket, thrust washer and stem packing are all PTFE; the stem is SS304 or SS316 to match the body. Sizes run 1/4″, 3/8″, 1/2″, 3/4″, 1″, 1-1/4″, 1-1/2″ and 2″, each with female PT or NPT threads.
One more detail machine builders appreciate: every size comes with a drilled mounting pad — 10-24 UNC up to 3/4″, 1/4″-20 UNC from 1″ — so a hand valve installed today can take a pneumatic or electric actuator later without changing the valve.

Where it gets used
Every valve leak tested.
Each unit is checked for leakage before shipment.
What does 2000 WOG mean?
WOG stands for Water, Oil, Gas — the cold, non-shock working pressure in psi. A 2000 WOG valve is rated for 2000 psi at room temperature on those media. It is a cold working pressure figure, not a steam rating.
Is the V-2NF full port?
Yes. The bore matches the pipe inside diameter on every size, so the valve does not restrict the line, and the Cv value for each size is printed on the dimension sheet.
Can I automate this valve later?
Yes. Every size has a drilled mounting pad — 10-24 UNC from 1/4″ to 3/4″, 1/4″-20 UNC from 1″ to 2″ — so a pneumatic or electric actuator can be fitted without changing the valve or the piping.
Should I choose CF8 or CF8M?
CF8 (cast 304) covers water, air and general service. Choose CF8M (cast 316) when chlorides are in the picture — coastal sites, brine or many process chemicals — because its molybdenum resists pitting.
How is this different from your standard two-piece ball valve?
The V-2NF carries a 2000 WOG rating, double the 1000 WOG of our standard two-piece build, for gas lines, field piping and systems that run or spike past 1000 psi. For ordinary service the standard valve is the economical choice.
