304 stainless steel graduated ball valve handle with memory stop locking pin, 0–90° scale
HG-304 · Handle upgrade

Memory Stop Handle for Ball Valves — Graduated 0–90°

A 304 stainless steel handle upgrade that turns an on/off ball valve into a repeatable flow setter. A graduated plate reads 0–90° in 10° steps, and a locking pin holds the lever at any step — like a memory stop, but for every position.

Product overview

Set it, lock it, repeat it

A standard ball valve is a fine on/off device and a poor flow setter — the lever holds nothing between open and closed, so yesterday’s setting is gone the moment someone bumps it. This handle fixes that. A graduated scale plate reads the opening angle from 0° to 90° in 10° steps, and a spring locking pin drops into a notch at every step.

Set the flow once, note the number, and the setting repeats: pull the pin, swing to the mark, let it drop. It works like the memory stop found on commercial ball valves, with one difference — a memory stop holds a single preset position, while this handle locks at any of the ten. The handle and scale plate are 304 stainless steel. It fits our own ball valve series; tell us the valve model when you order and we ship the right fit.

Applications

Where it gets used

Manual flow balancing — set branch lines to a repeatable opening instead of guessing by feel.Pump throttling on startup — bring a line up at a set opening, then open fully once stable.Dosing and fill lines — repeat the same coarse flow rate batch after batch.Tamper-resistant settings — the pin keeps a set opening from being knocked or drifting.Anywhere a memory stop is specified — same job, more positions.

FAQ
What is a memory stop?

A memory stop is an accessory on commercial ball valves that lets the lever return to one preset position, so a balanced flow setting survives being closed and reopened. This handle does the same job with a graduated scale and ten lockable positions instead of one.

How does the locking pin work?

Pull the pin up, swing the lever to the mark you want, and let the pin drop into the notch. The lever stays there until someone pulls the pin again.

Can I use a ball valve to throttle flow?

For coarse, repeatable manual setting — yes, and that is what this handle is for. For precise proportional control you want a characterized V-port valve; this handle covers the many jobs in between an on/off valve and a control valve.

Which valves does it fit?

Our own ball valve series. Tell us the valve model and size when you order and we supply the matching handle, or ship the valve with the handle already fitted.

What is it made of?

Handle and graduated plate are 304 stainless steel; the grip is a plastisol sleeve. Material certificates for the steel parts are available on request.
