Pneumatic Vacuum Ball Valve
Two-piece 316 vacuum ball valve with an NW50 (ISO-KF) clamp flange on each end and a rack-and-pinion pneumatic actuator on top. Full port, PTFE seats, double acting or spring return.
Clamp it on. Let the actuator do the turning.
A pneumatic vacuum ball valve does the routine work a vacuum line asks for most: open and close on a signal. The NW50 clamp flange — also written ISO-KF or KF50 — seals with a single clamp and a centring ring, no bolts, so the valve goes into the line in minutes and comes out just as fast for service. When the solenoid fires, the rack-and-pinion actuator swings the ball a quarter turn; the full-port bore keeps conductance high, which is what a vacuum system cares about.
The V-2VN is a two-piece valve: body and ball in cast 316 stainless (A351 CF8M), seats and vacuum seals in PTFE — a clean, corrosion-resistant, low-outgassing combination. The actuator mounts on an ISO 5211 pad and comes double acting (DA) or spring return (SR); air supply is 4–8 bar. Choose SR when you want the line to fail shut — or fail open — on air loss, and add a solenoid valve, limit switch box or positioner when the control panel needs them.
We cast and machine in-house in Taichung, Taiwan, and this valve pairs with the manual version of the same family: if part of your line is switched by hand on ISO-K flanges, see the V-2V manual vacuum ball valve. For an OEM run under your own brand, casting, machining and assembly all answer to one factory.
Need the pilot valve as well? Our solenoid valve for pneumatic actuators is NAMUR direct mount, bolts straight onto this actuator, and ships assembled and tested with the valve.

Where it gets used
Every valve leak tested.
Each unit is checked for leakage before shipment.
What flange is NW50 — is it the same as KF50?
Yes — NW50, KF50 and ISO-KF DN50 all name the same quick-release clamp flange standard. One clamp and a centring ring with an O-ring make the seal; no bolts, no torque pattern. It mates directly with standard KF50 fittings, hoses and pump ports.
Double acting or spring return — which should I order?
Double acting (DA) uses air for both strokes and is the economical default. Spring return (SR) drives one way with air and the other with springs, so on air failure the valve moves to a known position — closed to protect the pump and chamber, or open if your process calls for it. If the line must fail safe, order SR.
Can it do high vacuum?
It is built for rough-to-medium vacuum isolation: 316 body, PTFE seats and vacuum seals keep the assembly clean and low-outgassing for foreline and facility duty. For UHV chambers you would move to metal-sealed valves — that is a different class of hardware.
What is the difference from your manual vacuum ball valve?
Two things: actuation and flange. This valve switches pneumatically on NW50 (ISO-KF) clamp flanges; the V-2V is lever-operated on ISO-K flanges, DN80 and DN100. Same two-piece 316 construction and PTFE seats on both — pick by line size, flange standard and whether the valve must run from a controller.
Do you take OEM orders under our brand?
Yes — that is most of what we do. SZ Valves casts and machines in-house in Taichung, Taiwan, so private label, customer part numbers and your documentation requirements are all on the table. Tell us DA or SR, accessories and quantities for a quote.
