Stainless steel hex tube, hollow bar and profile tubes
Hexagonal, octagonal, fluted and square-profile tubes with a round bore, plus thick-wall hollow bar. 304 or 316 stainless, made to the OD, bore, wall and length on your drawing.
Shaped outside, round bore inside.
We make stainless steel hex tube (hexagonal steel tube, or hexagonal pipe) and five other profiles on the same order book: octagonal tube, fluted tube, square tube with a round hole, thick-wall hollow bar, and hex slices cut from hex tube. Every one of them has a round bore inside a shaped outside.
Grade is 304 or 316. Outside size, bore, wall thickness and length are not fixed catalog sizes; we quote them from your drawing.
Thick-wall hollow bar, what US buyers often call stainless steel mechanical tubing, comes with the bore already in it, so your shop skips the first drilling pass on solid bar. The same goes for hex tube. Hex slices are cut from hex tube to the thickness you specify.

Where these profiles end up.
Which stainless grades do you make?
304 and 316, both made to order.
Can you make a profile tube to my drawing?
Yes. Send the drawing with the outside shape, OD, bore, wall and length, and we quote that exact part.
Do you have a standard hollow bar size list?
No fixed list. Hollow bar and hex tube sizes are set per order, so send the OD, bore and length you need.
Can you cut hex tube into slices?
Yes. We cut hex tube into short hex pieces; tell us the thickness of each piece.
What do you need for a quote?
Profile, grade, OD, bore, wall, length and quantity. A drawing is the fastest way.
Are you a hexagonal steel tube manufacturer or a trader?
We make the tubes ourselves, which is why we can quote a profile that is not in any catalog.
